I like the way this belt looks, but I am concerned about the plastic buckle. My previous leather belt lasted well over twenty years, but few items seem designed for that amount of durability these days. I bought this because the entire belt is black, including the buckle, so I am happy with my purchase and hope it lasts through many years of daily use. I just am not expecting the same type of longevity that my blackened (enamel coated?) metal buckle gave me. I could be wrong; this belt may be equally durable.

Good belt. I would get a size bigger next time. Made of good leather but slightly stiff. It should get softer with use. Overall, I would buy it again.

This has become my new favorite belt. It looks good (the finish is more on the matte side compared to other brown leather belts I have), the leather is pretty thick, and it’s one of the most solid belts I’ve ever owned. I’ve worn it almost every day over the past couple of months and the loop I use shows essentially no signs wear or disfigurement.There’s really not much else to say. It’s just an awesome well made belt. Order it 2in up from your pants size (as recommended with any belt), and I’m sure you’ll be happy.

It's hard to tell if this is genuine leather. It says it is, but I'm truly not sure because it feels and looks like faux leather (or maybe I've just seen some REALLY good faux leather belts in my day...). Despite that, the belt fit as expected so it'll do just fine!
